INTENSIVE PROGRAM

O SO} The YMCA Inte rnat ional Lang uage School, located at the hear t of Downtown

Montreal, was established in 1965 and is part of the international YMCA movementfound in 120 countries.

} The Language School has 27, well-lit classrooms, 2 computer-based language learning labs,a student lounge with wi-fi access, and more.

} Free wireless access, in our language laboratories, is offered to students registered in any ofour intensive programs.

} The minimum age requirement is 18, but the average age of our students is between25-29 years old.

} We are members of the following associations: ALTO (Association of Travel Organization),WYSE (World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation), Imagine Education au/inCanada and Languages Canada.

} Our Language School is conveniently located in the same building as the YMCA SportsCenter which is equipped with technologically up-to-date equipment and fitness programs.

} Students who register in our intensive or semi-intensive programs benefit from aFREE GYM MEMBERSHIP.

O CS Our sessions start every 4 weeks.

We oer sessions all year long.

We oer group courses (maximum of 15 studentsper group) and private lessons.

Our teachers are well qualied (ESL diplomas andcertificates) and competent.

Class materials are not included in the advertised cost.

Ocial evaluation center for TOEIC (Test of English forInternational Communication), and TFI (Test de franaisinternational) in Montreal.

AVE Activities are organized regularly for students by the

school (tours, guided visits, trips, festivals/events,cinema, and more.

Weekend trips to New York, Toronto, Ottawa,Quebec City, and more.

O FE CEAll students registered in our language programs of15 or more hours per week have free accessto ourfitness centre which includes:

A large selection of group tness classes:aerobics, toning, step, aquafit, yoga, various dances,cardio cycle and much more!

An exercise room with cardiovascularequipment, weight training circuit, and free weights

A 25-metre lap pool

A 125-metre indoor jogging track

A gymnasium for team sports

4 squash courts

O SE A(9-17 YEARS OLD)

Two sessions of English and French Language cam(located in downtown Montreal) are offered durin

the summer (July and August).

Three sessions of English language courses(July and August) are offered in Camp KANAWANAa nature-lled camp site located 45 minutesfrom Montreal.

AMANOur school offers two types of student accommodaprograms:

Homestay programs with English and French lanspeaking Canadian families living within a 45-minradius from our school.
