We, the Catholic faithful of Yukon and the surrounding areas, comprise Seven Dolors Parish. We
have a rich immigrant ancestry and a diverse ethnic heritage where Christian charity prevails. We are
committed to the Eucharist, the Good News of Jesus Christ and all teachings of the Catholic Church. We
strive to minister to the needs of those we encounter on a daily basis by centering ourselves in worship,
participating in the sacramental life of the Church, and performing works of mercy. We seek to build-up the
Kingdom of God through stewardship and service under the guidance of our patroness, Mary, the Mother of God.

of Perpetual Help The parish prays a continuous novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 11:45 AM before the Monday 12 Noon Mass. Stations of the Cross Please join this traditional Lenten devotion on Wednesdays during Lent. There will be Stations of the Cross Wednesday, April 17, at 9:30 AM. Choir Practice The choir will practice Wednesday, April 17 at 7 PM. If you would like to join the parish choir, please join us at practice.
Youth Ministry Will meet Saturday, April 27, at 5:15 PM in the social hall. Easter Flowers Please consider using the special envelope in your March envelope packet for a donation to the Easter Flowers that will decorate Seven Dolors Church this Easter Season. Shut-ins and Homebound Please remember in your prayers our parishioners who are not able to attend Mass because they are ill or homebound.
Mother-Daughter Luncheon Seven Dolors Christian Mothers & Ladies invite you to the annual Mother-Daughter Luncheon. The theme this year is “Taste of the Derby”. We are celebrating the day after the Kentucky Derby. The luncheon will be held Sunday, May 5, at 12:30 PM. Admission: Adults/$12; Children 6-12/$6; and “Your Prettiest Derby Hat!” Children 5 & Under/Free but must have reservation. Prizes will be awarded for: Craziest, Prettiest, Biggest, make it, or buy it; but, you will need a hat for admission. Reservation deadline: April 21; Colleen Bahr (724) 872-5950, [email protected]. “Prayer Around the Cross” The Diocesan Heritage Center will host a style of Taize prayer, “Prayer Around the Cross” April 14 at 7:30 PM at St. Joseph Chapel at the Christ Our Shepherd Center. The event will feature prayer through Scripture, music, icons and candlelight. GCC Presents
“Children of Eden” Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School will present “Children of Eden” April 26 at 7 PM and April 27 at Noon and 7 PM at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center. The performance translates the first nine chapters of the Book of Genesis into a family musical for the 21st Century. Tickets are $10 and seating is general admission. Outreach Ministry for LGBT People and Families

Catholic Youth Day at Cedar Point
Parish youth currently in grades 5-12 are invited to join the Diocese of Greensburg on Tuesday, June 18, for a
trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio. The cost is $90 and includes park admission, bus transportation,
lunch, an all-day drink wristband and a catered dinner in
the park. All adults 18 and over must have appropriate clearances. Registration deadline is June 16 or when the
buses are filled. Contact the parish office or visit www.dioceseofgreensburg.org/CedarPoint. All youth
registrants must have an adult chaperone as part of their group.
