PAHAL is a voluntary organization working in the field ofLivelihood Support, Rural & Slum area SustainableDevelopment, Environment Protection, Micro-Enterprise,Micro-Financing, Capacity building of the MarginalisedCommunity (esp. women), Awareness Programs , Co-operation& Co-ordination.PPAHAL was established in the year 1988 by Mr. Islam Hussain &associates. It operates in 4 districts of Uttrakhand. Head officeis in Kathgodam , Nainital district , Uttrakhand.
IInitiated by PAHAL in the year 2007, Pebble Art comes underMEDP (Micro Enterprise Development Programme). Thisprogramme has been sponsored by NABARD DehradunRegional office and 50 beneficiaries of different SHGs (Self HelpGroups) have been provided with PEBBLE ART training.
