É do mundo digital que surge a essência da Mesh, do pixel à triangulação para gerar e simular formas complexas. É na escala que muitas vezes reside a definição das formas; i.e. as formas digitais só são percepcionadas a uma certa distancia, se estivermos muito próximos só vimos formas geométricas simples, é necessário um certo distanciamento para conseguirmos descortinar as formas globais. É Neste jogo que o mundo digital faz com o nosso cérebro, enganando-o e levando-o aos limites da percepção, que a cadeira Mesh procura o seu lugar:- uma forma segmentada composta de pequenos triângulos como se um ficheiro digital se tratasse é o que Mesh é na realidade mas se nos afastarmos vimos que o que aparenta ser é uma forma una e fluida. - no mundo do mobiliário em madeira onde o sentar é rígido e estático, Mesh oferece um sentar dinâmico e inconstante. Cada corpo vai deformar a malha às suas necessidades, assim a cadeira adquire uma configuração diferente de utilizador para utilizador.Mesh introduz novos materiais no mundo do mobiliário de madeira e optimiza a matéria-prima – madeira, ao ser composta de várias peças pequenas que podem vir das sobras da produção de outras peças de mobiliário.

Mesh is a chair/armchair which offers a dynamic and adaptable Sitting from user to user, composed by a tubular stainless steel structure that supports a membrane of natural rubber. This membrane in rubber is the sustain for small triangles of wood that can be of one Finishing or compound by various typologies of woods. As in the digital formats, where a set of triangles configures a complex surface, also here these triangles as a whole configure the chair.Mesh that is actually very analog, in the sens that it is infinitely configurable in relation between subject/user, reminds us of the digital pixel where the simple geometry is the basis for all forms.

Mesh é uma cadeira/poltrona que oferece um sentar dinâmico e adaptável de utilizador para utilizador, composta por uma estrutura tubular em aço inoxidável que suporta uma pelicula de borracha natural. Esta pelicula de borracha é o sustente para pequenos triângulos de madeira que podem ser de um só acabamento ou compostos por várias tipologias de madeiras. Assim como nos formatos digitais, onde um conjunto de triângulos configura uma superfície complexa, também aqui estes triângulos no seu conjunto configuram a cadeira.Mesh que é na realidade muito analógica, no sentido de ser infinitamente configurável na sua relação objecto/utilizador, recorda-nos o mundo digital do pixel e da geometria simples como base para todas as formas.
