NOTICE OF MIDDLETOWN- HARDENBURGH
FIRE DISTRICT ELECTION Pursuant to Section 175 of
the Town Law constituting chapter 27 of the Laws of 1969, a regular election of the officers of the Middletown-Hardenburgh Fire District in the Uowns of Middletown, Delaware County, New York, and Hardenburgh, Ulster County, New York, will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 1973, at the firemen’s meeting rooms in the Margaretville fire hall at Margaretville, N. Y.
The following officers will be elected at that time:
One Fire Commissioner for a period of five years, in place of Eric Stange, whose term of office expires.
Any candidate for District Office must file his/her name with the secretary of the fire district at least ten (10) days prior to the date of such Fire District election.
The meeting will be called at 7:00 p.m., at which time the election officials will receive nominations for the above offices. The polls will remain open until 9:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
Every elector of the town who shall have resided in the district for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding the election shall be qualified to vote for such officers.Dated: November 12, 1973
