Gardening Club had a fab time
making winter hanging baskets at
Cofton Nurseries. They also very
kindly donated some large planters
for school that pupils were allowed
to plant up.
Look out for us at
the Alvechurch
Christmas Craft Fayre
on November 26th!
We will be selling
lavender bags, bird
feeders (both made
by gardening club
members) and
plants.
On Wednesday 9th November a group of KS2 and KS3 pupils visited the
Ryland Centre to take part in a New Age Kurling competition. With only a
few having played before, it was set to be a challenge for them all to play
against other schools! They worked brilliantly together in their teams,
encouraging and supporting each other in all of the games. In the end, our
KS2 boys team made it through to the final against a team from Chadsgrove
and they WON! They received a well deserved medal and are moving on to
represent Bromsgrove in the next round of the competition. A very well
done to all for taking part and representing Alvechurch Middle School.
Thank you and well done to all the boys (30+) who have attended year 5 football
training since September. Due to the dark nights and deteriorating weather it has now temporarily finished but will resume again in March where all pupils will be welcome to at-
tend.
