“There is no commercial invoice print out again, pls. help to fix it ASAP”
“When you experienced the printing issue about a month back you told me Chris fixed it how did he fix that issue but can not fix the other issues?”
“I have told you Chris fixed the problem sometimes, but Idon't know why he can not fix now”
“I have talked with IT team…What was wrong with the printer, and what did they do to repair it?”
“Please read my comments in RED!…”
Printers were not happy
After reviewing the issue, I believe that Lydia has suffered a lot for long time, because it frequently happened to that printer meanwhile more than 30 other printers have had same problem, such as: ... ...One of the incorrect logics in printing process is:
Whenever the problem or issue happen, one of printer processes sends message back the application server, for examples, there are no paper. the server pops up a screen to ask"...There was an error found when printing the document.... Do you want to retry or cancel the job?". Obviously there are no people to answer...
After user inputs paper into printer, the process still waits for answer from server, and as long as possible. By following the rule "First In First Out", the incoming jobs line up in the queue due to the stuck job in front of them.
The solution is to disable this popup. Here is the procedure….….
The route cause is a default setting on windows 2000
“Wow....thank you for your smart finding for us to fix the issue!”
