Boys & GIrls CLub Guidelines I will respect other members, staff, and equipment.

Watch out for our emails! This is the BEST way to receive importantGuardian information and updates about what is happening at theClub. Ensure that the Club’s emails are not getting caught in yourspam folder.

The Club is NOT open on snowdays

Holidays-The club is NOT open on: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday,Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, MLK Day,Easter, Memorial Day, 4th Of July

Member Engagement The Boys & Girls Club mission is to help develop productive,

responsible, and caring citizens of the world. We can’t do that ifour members are glued to phones, tablets, or other devices.

Members are allowed to bring their own devices to the Club, butwe limit their use to particular times of day. Please encourageyour child(ren) to participate in Club activities when they are

here. Members will earn points for all their activities. These pointscan be turned in weekly for great prizes, so please ask your

child(ren) how they’re doing with their points! Encouragement andreinforcement from parents and guardians makes all the

difference in member engagement!

Discipline PolicyGuidelines:

Be respectful to other members, staff, andequipment, including using polite language.

Remember the golden rule and treat others theway you want to be treated.

Talk to a staff member if you have a question ora problem.

Rules of common sense apply at all times.

Discipline Policy: If a member breaks a club rule, or an activity rule,

they will get one warning.After one warning members will be given a “blue

slip” and removed from that activity

Suspension Sheets are used for extreme poor orrepetitive behavior issues for example: fighting,

stealing, disrespect to staff, inappropriate language,and any other issues staff see fit.

What happens if my child gets a suspension sheet?Guardians will be called to pick up your child

ASAP. Your child will not be allowed back to theclub for an allotted number of days (depends on

the behavior displayed)

After School Day Drop Offs: All Members will have temperatures checked prior to them entering

the building.Members will be bused to the Club from Eden MS/HS and Eden GLP.

Members will be walked over from Eden Elementary School.

You will need to enter on the far side driveway, next to Campbell andAssociates Law Office. Pull around the building to the front door and

wait for a staff member will come outside have you fill out aquestionnaire and take your child’s temperature. If it is above 100.3

degrees they will not be allowed at the Club until their temperature isnormal and they are 100% Covid Symptom free. If member’s

temperature is normal they will sanitize their hands, and put allbelongings in their assigned cubbies.

Wednesday Drop Offs/Afternoon Drop Offs: (STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE)

Please try to drop your child(ren) off between 8-8:30 am.

You will need to enter on the far side driveway, next to

Campbell and Associates Law Office. Pull around the

building and park in a parking spot. Please call 992-2702

to tell the staff member you are here to pick up your child. A

staff member will come outside to check your ID to be sure

you are on the members pick up list, then call for your child

to go home.

You drive to the Main Entrance. Pull around the building circle to the front

door, a staff member will come outside have you fill out a questionnaire

and take your child’s temperature. If it is above 100.3 degrees they will not

be allowed at the Club until their temperature is normal and they are 100%

Covid Symptom free. If member’s temperature is normal they will sanitize

their hands, and put all belongings in their assigned cubby.

Middle School members will be dropped off on the sidewalk at the WT Hoag

Building entrance at Sunset Blvd. All other schools will be dropped off at the circle.

covid protocol General

Members are not allowed to bring in any toys, games, or personal

belongings that are not necessary for their day at the club until

further notice (except for electronic devices).

When picking up/dropping off members, please do not get out of

your vehicles.

All parents, guardians, visitors are NOT ALLOWED inside the Boys &

Girls Club of Eden-Lakeshore Clubhouses until further notice! NO

EXCEPTIONS!

Please send your child with a water bottle

A reminder: staff members are not allowed to apply sunscreen to

members. If you would like your child to wear sunscreen please

apply it before they come to the Club and send them with a bottle

so they are able to reapply.

Members will be asked to wear a mask when social distancing

cannot be maintained.

Members and staff will be temperature checked every day they

attend the Boys & Girls Club

If members cannot follow Covid protocol guidelines, they will be

sent home and a guardian will need to pick them up immediately.

We have scheduled times for members to be able to work on their

school work.
