Polyolefin Shrink Films

Description: RMCL manufactures a range of Polyolefin Shrink Films that are bi-axially oriented,

heat shrinkable films offering excellent clarity and strength. Being strong, durable and nearly

puncture proof they are useful for over wrapping and unitizing products with odd

configurations. The films’ low specific weight, food contact suitability, good shrinkage at

relatively low temperatures, resistance to chemical agents, the easiness to use and the

absence of gas during the sealing makes it a wide range application shrink film both with

manual and automatic packaging machines. The film can be also supplied with flexo-printing.

This soft, flexible film is very popular in the wrapping of foods and non food applications.

Availability: Available in Standard Shrink Film, High Performance Shrink Film, Printable Shrink

Film, Anti Fog Cross-linked Shrink Film, Cross-linked Shrink Film, Hot Slip Shrink Film.

Description: RMCL manufactures a range of Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Films and Bags

that find daily and extensive use in packaging household things. LDPE films are 3, 5, or 7 layer

co extruded films that are soft, offer good clarity but low barrier. It is the least expensive of all

polymer packaging films and it is possible to alter its basic properties by blending other

polymers and/or additives, like EVA, LDPE, Color Pigments, Black Carbon etc.

The film is widely used for food packaging like bread bags, baked goods, light duty produce

bags, etc. LDPE bags are manufactured from high quality raw materials and are used to create

shopping bags and carry bags with various closure options. The most popular use of LDPE is in

the manufacture of garbage bags. These bags are mostly used for lining waste bins or litter bins

and waste baskets. Small LDPE clear bags with a zipper on one side are also widely used for

storing food items. Bags and items manufactured from LDPE are recyclable
