16 Transitioning to Common Core with enVisionMATH

Pacing for Common Core This Pacing Guide is provided to help with planning as you implement the Common Core State Standards with enVisionMATH ©2009/2011. The guide indicates the Standards for Mathematical Content that each lesson addresses and suggests pacing for each topic. Included in the guide are references to off-grade level Standards of Mathematical Content to help you become familiar with the content shifts of Common Core.

Additional lessons, indicated by a capital letter after the number, offer in-depth coverage of certain standards. These lessons, in addition to the lessons in enVisionMATH ©2009/2011 provide complete coverage of all of the Common Core State Standards for Grade 4.

The suggested number of days for each topic is based on a 60-minute class period. The total of 160 days of instruction allows time for all of the lessons that address the Common Core State Standards as well as some review and enrichment lessons.
