ITINERARYJune 12 – Mount Rushmore Evening Lighting CeremonyWelcome to your Moostash Joe Tour! Today’s travels take us across South Dakota into the beautiful Black Hills. Arrive this evening in the fun town of Keystone, where we’ll be overnight. Then, head over to nearby Mount Rushmore National Memorial for free time to explore, to enjoy an evening meal together at Carver’s Cafe on-site and at dusk, enjoy the Mount Rushmore Evening Lighting Ceremony! June 13 – Bozeman, MTHead out of the Black Hills this morning en route to today’s final destination – Bozeman, Montana. Here, enjoy the company of your fellow travelers over an evening meal together along with a good nights rest! (B, D)

June 14 – Missoula Smokejumpers / Spokane, WAContinue west through Montana this morning. In Missoula, we’ll visit and tour the Missoula Smokejumper Base. The primary mission of smokejumpers is firefighting! On this fascinating tour, we’ll learn about smokejumping, which was developed as a means of quickly reaching, parachuting to, and attacking fires in remote road-less areas. Across the state line in Idaho, spend some time at Old Mission State Park in Cataldo featuring a beautiful Spanish-style church listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as being Idaho’s oldest building. Dinner tonight is at the Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Spokane, Washington. (B, D)

June 15 – Manito Park Gardens / Winthrop, WAOur morning is spent at Spokane’s wonderful Manito Park Gardens. The 90 acre park has five gardens, a greenhouse conservatory and beautiful flowers throughout. Our next stop is down the road at the Grand Coulee Dam for your first intimate look at the Columbia River and the massive hydroelectric dam. Later this afternoon we arrive in the western village of Winthrop where you’ll have free time to enjoy the downtown wood boardwalks, old time saloons and western charm. (B, D)

June 16 – Washington Scenic Highway 20 / North Cascades National ParkA beautiful day awaits on magnificent Washington Scenic Highway 20, otherwise known as the North Cascades Highway. We’ll wind through the Cascades, stopping at incredible Washington Pass for a panoramic view and at Diablo Lake for its emerald waters. Enjoy a picnic lunch and sightseeing inside North Cascades National Park before continuing onto Burlington, our home for the next two nights. (B, L)

June 17 – Friday Harbor and San Juan Island TourToday we enjoy a ride on the Washington State Ferry to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island! You’ll be enchanted by this charming, historic seaport filled with friendly shops and quaint neighborhoods. We meet our local step-on guide for a guided tour of the island including a picnic lunch. Later, enjoy some free time to do your own exploring before taking the ferry back to the mainland. (B, L)

June 18 – Seattle, WA / Pike Place MarketHead into the city this morning for a step-on guided tour of Seattle. As the largest city in Washington and the Pacific Northwest region, learn why it’s one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. as well as see its must-see sights. After our tour enjoy free time for lunch and exploring on your own at renowned Pike Place Market! Established in 1907, Pike Place continues to feature fresh, locally produced high quality foods, goods and handcrafted products. But, some of you may just want to stop and sip some coffee at the Original Starbucks! Later, we take the iconic Washington State Ferry to Bainbridge Island featuring amazing panoramic views of Seattle. Our day comes to an end in Port Angeles, WA for our two-night stay and evening meal at our hotel. (B, D)

June 19 – Butchart Gardens / Victoria, British ColumbiaThis morning we board our ferry for our ride into Canada! Upon arrival, we head straight for world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Wander through the lush greens and colorful blooms at this must-see oasis in Victoria, British Columbia along with a locally inspired lunch on-site. This afternoon we tour the city of Victoria with our local step-on guide including free time for exploring downtown on your own before we head back to the United States. (B, L)

June 20 – Olympic National Park / Lavender FarmA spectacular morning drive awaits in Olympic National Park! Olympic National Park features an incredible range of landscapes, ecosystems and diversity. We’ll head all the way up and spend some time at Hurricane Ridge for unbelievable panoramic photos with time to walk around and reflect. Back down, lunch will be in Sequim, WA at a local favorite spot before exploring one of the areas popular Lavender Farms. Continue south this afternoon to the Portland metro, where we’ll be overnight. (B, L)

June 21 – Columbia Gorge National Scenic AreaA drive along the Columbia River Gorge is a must for any visitor to the Pacific Northwest. We’ll make must-see stops at the Vista House at Crown Point and at magnificent Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water. Enjoy lunch together in The Dalles, a visit to Pendleton Woolen Mills this afternoon and an evening at your leisure at our overnight stop in Baker City, OR. (B, L)

June 22 – Shoshone Falls Lunch will be in Twin Falls, ID overlooking the Snake River Canyon and a stop will be made at Shoshone Falls Park, otherwise known as the Niagara of the West! Relax tonight in Logan, UT and enjoy an evening to do as you wish. (B, L)

June 23 – Fossil Butte National Monument / Cheyenne, WYBeautiful scenery continues this morning as we drive around the Utah side of Bear Lake, a popular recreation spot with turquoise-blue water. Later, we make a stop at Fossil Butte National Monument to learn about some of the world’s best preserved fossils. Continue east, arriving in Cheyenne, WY this evening along with a farewell dinner to follow at the Wyoming Rib & Chop House. (B, D)

June 24 – Return HomeSpend one last day reminiscing with your newly made friends about your tour to the Pacific Northwest and through Washington’s Waterways! Say goodbye to everyone as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points later this afternoon and evening. (B)
