Some views shared by FGWs... “Through communication module I learned different ways to talk to people and speak with confidence. This inspired me to speak to my seniors about my performance and aspirations. When I discussed my goals with the seniors and showed the will to become supervisor, they supported me and evaluated my performance and took feed back from others also about my work. Eventually I got promoted and now I have become a supervisor”

“Recently I went to my village and my son fell sick. He had Diarrhoea and it was night so doctor was also not available, I started giving him home made ORS which I had learned from Health module. Though my mother in law was continuously scolding and telling not to give ORS but I gave him ORS. Next morning when they took him to hospital the doctor appreciated my efforts for providing the immediate treatment and said the child

would have been died if ORS was not given to him. After listening to doctor my mother in law also supported me”

“I had left my studies after my father’s death as I was the only earning member. After attending session on ‘Goal setting’ in PACE I understood that it is important to think about ourselves also and its never late to achieve our ambitions and goals in life . So I decided to complete my studies. For all the se changes I give credit to PACE”
