The system architecture is based on open, internation-ally accepted hardware and software standards thatprotect your investment, reduce overhead costs, andprovide cost effective access to production and diag-nostic data
With the integrated motion/logic software, run in astandardized IEC 61131-3 program and on a singlePentium class processor, you achieve the highest per-formance and lowest engineering costs
With EPAS-4, a single integrated software tool, you canconfigure and diagnose the complete system,parameterize and commission the servo axes and fieldbus devices, and program motion and logic
Jerk-free motion generation for all axes as well as on-the-fly motion corrections and changes of master axesare performed in the controller to prevent unnecessarynetwork delays, rather than distributed to the drives asin previous generations
The complete system is fully digital, supports at least99 servo axes per controller and can be synchronized inreal time with another 40 controllers

The system is open for the integration of other sys-tems, such as human-machine interfaces with or with-out Windows, field buses and field bus modules, varia-ble frequency drives and servo motors
