Let us introduce you to the Event Workforce Group (EWG) which will be the holding company that unites our three core pillars being:

Event Workforce Group Talent provides amotivated workforce (you) to our clients

requiring casual staff for their major events. Thediverse event related roles include brandactivation, merchandise, event operations,

ticketing, and hospitality.

You will be the “talent” that has the opportunityto work at our client’s events using the invaluableinformation and skills gained from the Academythat will assist you in being the best possible

“talent”! Remember, you’re the reason why ourclients come back to us year after year, becauseof the hard work, passion, and love you have for

Event Workforce Group Academy unleashesthe power of Generation Y (you) through ourindustry designed pathway program from your

very first event, through online trainingmodules to contract and full time placementswithin the sport, entertainment, and events

industry.

Our vision is to give our Workforcers access toevent industry starter kits, national conferenceswith industry experts, mentorship programs,

short courses such as project management andrisk management and much more. This is awork in progress and we can't wait for theAcademy to transform into Australia's best

bespoke pathway!

platform, enabling event organisers to employ afully integrated rostering, training, and

accrediting system to mobilise their workforce.

So far we have placed over 50 fulltime staff into the industry and want this number to rise massively! We lookafter our own here so put your hand up and get noticed, you never know whois watching!

Be the best option!We have a long list of events in each state so keep getting involved in as manyevents as possible. You’re more likely to be selected if your Workforcer portal isup to date with a resume, profile picture, and credentials.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AWORKFORCERAll EWG Academy staff are assessed at each event on the following criteria byboth the Workforce/Shift Leader and the Client. Ace each of these and you'reguaranteed to stand out!

1. PunctualityYou should ALWAYS be on time! This means 15 minutes early to every shift. Asthe saying goes, first impressions count. If you are running late, contact yourWorkforce/Shift Leader and let them know immediately!

2. PresentationAlways follow the dress code in the event brief. If there are no dress codesWorkforcers are to wear all black. If you’re not sure, ask yourself “Would theclient employ me based on my appearance as a representative of theircompany?”

3. Task CompletionThe client will tell you exactly what they need you to do, so simply make sure itgets done!

4. InitiativeTreat every job experience as an OPPORTUNITY. Great things can come fromworking casually at an event (potentially even full time work!) Find ways to goabove and beyond.

PATHWAY PROGRAM

HOW TO GET YOUR HARDEARNED CASH!

1. Complete our simple online pay form at ew.rosterfy.co/add_finances

2. Complete a Tax File Declaration form by going to the ‘Noticeboard’ section ofyour portal and view the ‘Tax File Declaration Form’ post.

3. You will need to download the TFD form, print it, sign it (it must be physicallysigned not an electronic signature), scan it, and email it tostaffing@eventworkforcegroup.com

4. If you have any questions about your pay please contact us atfinance@eventworkforcegroup.com

5. Pay’s are processed fortnightly as per the days highlighted below. It is veryimportant that TFN Declaration Forms are submitted prior to pay day to ensureyou are paid in that fortnight.

POINTS OF CONTACTIf you have any questions in the lead up to your shift please contact the staffingteam. On event day, your point of contact is your Workforce / Shift Leader! Pleasenote that once you are confirmed onto a shift you cannot withdraw unlessexceptional circumstances arise. It is your responsibility to make sure that youshow up to your shift.

If an exceptional circumstance arises leading up to the event day and you can’tattend the shift you MUST let us know so we can find a replacement for you. Callour National Staffing Manager with your reason and withdraw via the portal.Please note unjustified withdraws are not acceptable!
