1 Introduction The purpose of this Spare Part Notice is to assist you in the Variable Inlet Valve Closing (VIC) upgrade process on ZA40S engine. Refer to Technical Bulletin ZAS-43.

2 Application field This Spare Part Notice concerns all Sulzer ZA40S L and V version engines.
