What we do
Identify student needs through:-
� Assessment
� Teacher observation
� Student work samples
� Parent referral
Where to next?
� Discussion with teacher
� Selecting the best program/ intervention for the student with advice from Support Programs team or the school’s Learning Support Team
� Program design and implementation.
� Evaluation of program and student progress
P & C Support
Funds from CCPS P&C assist with :-
� Additional staffing to run small group and individual programs in reading and mathematics.
� Freeing an Instructional Leader to co-ordinate support programs and build the professional capacity of teaching staff.

SENA Testing
� Assesses and identifies areas of need in the number strand.
� The data then informs teaching and learning programs and enables teachers to provide differentiated instruction to meet individual needs.

We are fortunate to have the assistance of parent helpers which allows us to reach more students in need.
