ACOUSTICS

LIFTING/LOWERING MECHANISMSThe lift/lower feature will emit a minimalhumming sound during operation. This isnormal.

During Precision Comfort™ operation, thelift arm wheels make contact with theplatform support of the bed. This appliesslight tension on the moving componentsand resonance is reduced to a minimumlevel. If excessive noise or vibration isexperienced, reverse the movementaction (up or down) of the bed with thehand control. This should realign the bed’sactivating mechanisms to the properoperational position.

MASSAGE OPERATIONThe massage feature will emit a minimaltone during operation. This is normal. When the massage level is increased, motor resonance will intensifyaccordingly.

LOCATION ENVIRONMENTThe level of sound experienced duringPrecision Comfort™ operation is directlyrelated to the location environment. Forexample, when a bed is located on ahardwood floor with the massage featurein operation, a vibrating tone will beaudible. To minimize this resonance, placea piece of carpet—or optional rubbercaster cups—under each leg or caster ofthe bed. See the accessory sheet includedwith this product for rubber caster cuporder information.

It is possible to experience vibration ornoise from the headboard brackets, headboards or footboards if mountingbolts are not firmly tightened.
