He then became a leader in sales management for a spine start-up, Spine-Tech, which was acquired by Sulzer Centerpulse and then Zimmer, he then joined Signus Medical during the early importation and distribution of PEEK technologies into the United States.

As the founder of Captiva Spine, Dale has an established National (U.S.A.) network of sales agents specializing in spinal instrumentation. Some of these relationships have been developed over the past 24 years.

Developed through close collaboration with leading MIS surgeons, the TowerLOX MIS Pedicle Screw System represents the next generation in minimally invasive spine surgery. TowerLOX provides simple and intuitive function in a cannulated pedicle screw system for minimally invasive surgeries. The smooth and reliable integration of the tower system, coupled with state of the art rod insertion and reduction instrumentation, allows for enhanced control and ease of rod delivery; even in the most challenging anatomical situations.

Issued US Patent for complimenting TowerLOX MIS System. PivoRod LP has a low profile rod/inserter connection that has the option to be used with 2 different inserter’s to provide simple and less invasive rod insertion, and efficient rod reduction.

Accurate rod insertion with PivoQuik Rod Inserter and the Quik-Connect rod interface for easy loading, unloading and manipulation of the rod. PivoQuik provides a reliable connection for safe and accurate MIS rod pivot, without disengaging from the inserter.

TowerLOX-EXT MIS Extended Tab Pedicle Screw provides a MIS rescue/revision option not available with other extended tab systems. The EXT’s narrow insertion diameter reduces tissue trauma, including internal counter torque that eliminates wound expansion, and the robust connection with TowerLOX MIS pedicle screw instrumentation, TowerLOX has become an all-encompassing system. Open extended tabs allow visual confirmation of rod passage and give 15mm of controlled built-in rod reduction above the break-off.

Pivotec TLIF Cage is a patented interbody lumbar implant delivery system that provides continuous control for accurate and safe insertion of cages (PIVOTEC TECHNOLOGY). The Pivotec system provides a less invasive approach by eliminating additional surgical steps and positioning of the implant. This is especially important during minimally invasive (MIS) applications where time is always of the essence. This lattice structure features a micro-rough surface topography, interconnected dual porosity, and open architecture. Titanium alloy implants with micro-rough surface topographies and dual porosity have been shown to promote direct bony on growth, in growth and vascularization.
