more merit-based

capable Bumiputera

Bumiputera Agenda
as the „national
agenda‟. Furthermore,
it is to ensure that all
Ministries facilitate
Bumiputera economic
development

• Rated at a minimum 3-Star in SCORE (SME Competitiveness Rating
Enhancement)
• More than 60% Bumiputera equity shareholding
• CEO and the majority of the Management Team is Bumiputera CEO

• Minimum revenue of RM 10 million per year for past 3 years

HIGH PERFORMING BUMIPUTERA COMPANIES (TeraS)
Facilitation Fund is a
tipping-point for
projects and act as an
enabler for the
Bumiputera
companies‟ strategic
investment
• Minimum cost project at RM2.5 million
• 15% grant for equipment and infrastructure component
• Maximum fund at RM30 million
• Approval for project(s) can be acquired from TERAJU / Economic Corridors
at RM50 million and below
• Approval for project(s) to be acquired from TERAJU HQ at RM50 million and
above until RM 200 million
• 51% Bumiputera equity shareholding
• Highly potential projects and viable

“Carve out and
compete” is opening
business opportunities
for Bumiputera
entrepreneurs in
construction sector
• Bumiputera Economic Council agreed to allow TERAJU to carve out any
government projects worth RM 500 million and above for Bumiputera
companies
• Percentage of the carve out depending on discussion made with the
relevant agencies
• All the Bumiputera companies are expected to compete for their share(s)
via open tender
