OUTREACH ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED IBA KARACHI IN THE

SOUTHERN PUNJAB, FEBRUARY 8-17, 2016

IBA Karachi has organized the outreach activities in collaboration with the IHSAN TRUST (Meezan Bank Limited) and Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) in the southern Punjab with the aim to visit each districts and encourage the talented & deserving students of HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II and to offer them a golden opportunity provided by IBA Karachi to enroll themselves in the National Talent Hunt Program without facing any financial constraints. We are pleased to share that both teams have successfully organized 42 awareness sessions in the major colleges of Southern Punjab from February 8-17, 2016. During the trip, we have targeted 38 colleges in the following 15 tehsils of various districts of Southern Punjab:

The main objective is to create awareness among the talented and deserving students of Matric, HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II, who are facing financial constraints but were unable to uplift their potential for the higher education. We the team members, have conducted 42 information sessions in different colleges simultaneously to cover maximum colleges and gave a brief introduction about the IBA and the National Talent Hunt Program with the focus to how to enroll at IBA through the NTHP Program –Batch 2016. We have also informed in each forum that what facilities they will be provided during orientation program, and as a role model, we have shared different success stories of the NTHP students currently enrolled into IBA and how this program has changed their career.

The logistics, management of the sessions and coordination of the program was carried out exceptionally well

by the PEEF team. Without their zeal and support for our cause and their help in the execution of the program,

we would not have been able to reach so many of our target audience and had the chance to offer meaningful

opportunities to the very talented youth of Southern Punjab. We May all continue to work towards creating

such impact in our society, especially in the domain of education.
