Aidian in a nutshellWe are a Finnish-based IVD company with almost 50 years of experience in developing and manufacturing reliable, fast and easy-to-use diagnostic tests especially for primary care.

With a clear sight for the future we are more focused than ever in expanding our company and developing products that meet the demands of our customers, today and tomorrow.

Our global footprint covers over 60 countries and our QuikRead go® flagship products are used globally, with close to 50,000 placed instruments. Our annual turnover is close to 55 MEUR.

ProductionOur manufacturing is a combination of highly automated processes for mass production and specialized small-scale production. Our committed and skilled personnel set the bar high and work hard to continuously improve the operations. Key-words as high quality, cost-efficiency and lean principles drive our daily decisions. Our very own plastic factory is the foundation, which secures operational reliability and competitive pricing.

Minimizing the environmental impact is our guideline, starting at the very beginning of the development, and continuing throughout the whole life cycle of the products.

Research and DevelopmentOur R&D consists of a multidisciplinary team that is responsible for developing new test systems and features, and new analytes to our existing platforms. In addition to our R&D team, the entire Aidian personnel takes part in the development process of turning ideas to complete commercial products.

Quality managementQuality is a cornerstone of all that we do. We want high quality, reliability and safety to underline our actions. Our quality management system is fully in compliance with ISO13485:2016 as well as FDA QSR requirements. In addition, we aim to be compliant with the new IVD regulation. QuikRead go® The QuikRead go Instrument is a compact, fully automatic instrument which is used for quantitative and qualitative measurements together with QuikRead go reagent kits. The QuikRead go system – consisting of the instrument and ready-to-use kits – is specially designed for use in primary healthcare settings. The instrument can be connected to HIS/LIS systems.

Aidian’s UniQ Collagen assays are serum assays intended for measuring bone turnover and detecting connective tissue changes. Monitoring the collagen metabolism can be used to detect and manage a range of different bone and soft tissue disorders.
