The Events
The ChallengeCreate a ‘First Month Free’ promotion for micro sim for Q2 that is:
1. SIMPLE - Single minded message, easy customer journey
2. VALUABLE - Adds value to drive connections
3. QUICK - Easy to switch on - to go live in May
The ResultsWe offered O2 customers their first months mobile broadband free when they signed up to a recurring data plan.
Once the customer had activated their account they were sent an email directing them to the O2 claim site.
A cheque was sent out to all of those who claimed within 14 days, reimbursing them for their first month’s broadband.
3,204 activations during the promotional
period
Promotional comms were placed next to participating products in store
Eye catching comms were placed outside of stores to grab consumer’s attention
Promotional banner ads were placed on the O2 website to raise awareness
Promotional microsite achieved 12,971 visits during the activity
