OUR SCHOOL

11th Primary School of Alexandroupoli,Greece

The 11th Primary school Our school is located on the east side of our town.

It was built in 2002. There are 350 students in our school and 15

classes. Primary Education in Greece lasts for 6 years

Our school has a playground, with a basketball court and a volleyball court.

Inside,apart from the classrooms, there is an assembly hall and a library,a teachers’ office, a Head teacher’s office and a canteen.

School subjects :At school we are taught a lot of subjects like:Greek, Literature, Maths,History, Science,

GeographyPhysical education, Religious Education,English, German, French, Art, Drama, Computer Studies, Music, Social studies ,Environmental

studies.We organize festivities on our national holidays, at Christmas and at the end of the school year.

The “October 2012 “activity for our Comenius Programme: Students of class E1 painted characteristic buildings and landmarks of our town.

We also created a poster about our region , Evros

Our school staff: There are 32 teachers in our school. Our Head Teacher is Mr. Konstantinos Keramaris and our administrative officer is Mr Thodoris Tziampazis .
