OUR PURPOSE IS TO... < Stimulate awareness of bass fishing. < Support the state Wildlife Department. < Promote compliance to fishing regulations. < Report pollution of our waters. < Improve our angling skills through the exchange
of bass-catching techniques. < Promote & encourage youth fishing. < Function as a link with other chapters of the
Oklahoma Federation. BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP... < Fun & fellowship with other anglers and the

< Helping kids learn to cast, pitch and flip in Bassmaster Casting KidsJ.

All dates are in 2016 < Six draw-for-partner
events on three weekends. Saturday & Sunday are separate tournaments with new partner pairings each day.
< Boater entry $350 Co-angler $250. < You fish for points only. Each angler’s top four
scores are totaled to determine team standings. < Team members receive sponsor incentives and
have some expenses paid to the Federation Regional tournament. Nineteen States in the Central Division send 20-man teams.
< The top angler and co-angler from each State Team at the Regional event go on to the Bass Nation National Championship.
< From there, three anglers win berths in the Bassmaster Classic!

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS... < Be a member of B.A.S.S. < Be at least 16 years of age. < Attend a Chapter meeting and fish one tournament as a guest. FOCUS ON YOUTH BASS and the North OKC Bassmasters are dedicated America's youth and to the future of bass fishing and its resources. BASS developed the Bassmaster Casting Kids program in 1991.
Open to young people in two age groups, 7-10 and 11-14, the goals of this competition are to involve America's youth in fishing and to foster in each participant an appreciation and concern for our outdoors. Contests are held at annual boat and tackle shows and at other venues during the year.
OKC Junior Bassmasters We sponsor the OKC Junior Bassmasters where kids ages 11 through 18 get a chance to learn about bass fishing, compete in their own tournaments, and participate in conservation activities. The Junior Chapter meets at 6:30 pm the first Tuesday night of each month at a location TBD.

< Entry Fee is $50/Person, $5 opt. Big Bass Pot. < Tournaments are draw-for-partner, team weight.
We keep individual weights (3 fish/angler) for Top-6 team and end-of-the-year awards.
< Partner draw at the preceding meeting. < Non-boaters will be paired with boaters. < We use “Paper” format (catch-measure-and-
release) on slot limit lakes and in July & August to keep fish alive & healthy.
