WHY DO WE HAVE DAY AND NIGHT?

As the earth circle the sun it also spins in space.It spins on its axis which is an imaginary line running through the earth N to S.Once it completes a full spin after 24 hours it is called a rotation.Daytime is when the tilt is toward the sun and night is away from the sun.

SEASONS AND LATITUDE

As the earth travels around the sun, the tilt of its axis causes our seasons. The tilt shifts north to south.
