Who Do You Say That I Am? The Great Story of Jesus-Retreat Nov 28:30 am-5:00 pmDINING HALL

Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and decisive direction. ~ Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

The Great Story of Jesus — why he came, how he came, his life, his death, his resurrection and ascension, and his invitation for each and every man and woman to encounter him — is the most important story of our lives. In order to have a personal relationship with Christ and follow him in the midst of his Church, we need to come to understand his story and his love for us in a very personal way. Join us for an opportunity to come to know Jesus intimately and to understand how intimately he loves you.REGISTER: stlawrenceotoole.org/AllDayRetreatFEE: $30

Unplanned Unplanned is the inspiring true story of one woman’s journey of transfor-mation. All Abby Johnson ever want-ed to do was help women. As one of the youngest Planned Parenthood clinic directors in the nation, she was involved in upwards of 22,000 abortions and counseled countless women about their reproductive choices. Her passion surrounding a woman’s right to choose even led her to become a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood, fighting to enact legislation for the cause she so deeply believed in. Until the day she saw something that changed everything, leading Abby Johnson to join her former enemies at 40 Days For Life and become one of the most ardent pro-life speakers in America.REGISTER: stlawrenceotoole.org/RespectLifeMovieSUGGESTED DONATION: $20
