Dear LWEPC Kingdom Family and Friends:
February is the Month of , as we are reminded with Valentines Day celebrated right smack in the middle, on
the 14th. Just because it is the shortest month of the year doesn't mean we are to shorten or for
others. Even our Leap Year is doing its best to extend the Month of
Jesus speaking: "So now I am giving you a new commandment: each other. Just as I have you,
you should each other. Your for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples."
(John 13: 34-35).
We all have some great opportunities to others this month (but, of course, let us not stop there).
*On Sunday, February 2nd, hug your favorite Groundhog after you worship and on friends at church.
*On Thursday, February 6th, this school year's last 5th Quarter. on High School students in the community
through your donations and/or prayers as we gather for fun, food, and fellowship.
*On Sunday, February 9th, right after church, please help on our Wendell teachers by helping put together
Teacher Gift Bags that will be presented to over 100 Teachers and Paras on Thursday, February 13th.
*On Friday, February 14th, Valentine Day, don't forget to on your Valentine.
*On Friday, February 14th, please join together as we on the Spencer family at our Dessert Meet 'n Greet,
welcoming Pastor Shaun, Danielle and the girls at the church, 7:00 pm.
*On Tuesday, February 25th, please let the men of the church on you as they prepare a delicious Shrove
Tuesday Pancake Dinner.
*On Wednesday, February 26th, the Season of Lent begins. This is the season that we concentrate on
remembering Christ's and passion for us as we walk with Him in His journey to the cross.
*On Saturday, February 29th, please on all our Worship personnel (worship leaders, music people, sound
booth folks, pastor) through your prayers as they gather for their Worship Seminar, "Leaping for Joy."
May we honor our Lord Jesus as we keep on task in each other... day in and day out, week-to-week,
month-to-month, and year-to-year.
Here's to and Leaping with you,
Pastor Kev

Coffee Hour Helpful Hints
THANK YOU!! We are
thankful for people providing a variety of snacks during the coffee time after worship to allow people to
enjoy conversation and get to know one another better.
If you host a coffee hour, here are a few helpful hints to consider-
1. REMEMBER! – There is a Fellowship Committee Member to help.
2. SET-UP – ask for help to set out 4 to 6 tables and chairs. Place tablecloths, dessert plates, serving utensils, napkins, and silverware (if needed) on long table.
3. WEAR GLOVES – when arranging food on trays or platters, (gloves are in the drawer left of the sink).
4. SETTING FOOD OUT – It is your choice as to when food is placed on long table, (either before service or after). Either way food should be covered. Saran wrap is in the top drawer under the front counter on the left.
5. CLEAN – UP – Wash and put away any dishes that are used. Sink needs to be cleaned out, i.e. no food left in the drain. Wipe clean countertops and stainless steel cart.
Sweep floor as necessary, (material in janitor’s closet).
6. LEFT OVERS - Place in Ziploc bags, date and place in freezer, Ziploc bags are in the top drawer under the front counter on the left.
Do you have additional hints? Please let Barbara Larsen know!
The lives of each of us may be ordered by the Lord
in a beautiful way for His Glory, if we will only entrust Him
with our lives. If we try to regulate our own lives, we will have only mess and failure.
Only God,
who made our brains and hearts, can successfully guide them
to a profitable end.
When you carry the Bible, Satan has a headache;
when you open it, he collapses.
When he sees you reading it, he loses his strength, and when you stand on the Word of God, Satan can’t hurt you!
Life without God is like an
unsharpened pencil –
it has no point.
