Our Middle East Trade Product

With the addition of the IEX service – the only direct link between South East India and Europe – Hapag-Lloyd now offers five dedicated services between the Middle East / Indian Subcontinent and Europe.

The network has been designed to offer optimal geographic coverage by offering direct and best in class connectivity from North Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.

Our IOS and IO2 services provide two weekly direct sailings from North Europe to Red Sea, Arabian Gulf and Indian West Coast. Ports called in north Europe are Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, London Gateway, Southampton and Le Havre. The Le Havre call on the IOS service offers one of the best direct services into the Red Sea.

From the Mediterranean, our GEM and IMX services provide a weekly coverage from Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain, France and Egypt. Both services offer a direct weekly call to Hamad.

With the unique IEX service we open up new doors for our customers to the emerging markets within the Indian Subcontinent with direct calls at Chennai, Vizag, Krishnapatnam and Cochin. Moreover, the IEX service will offer an optimized connectivity to and from Bangladesh via Colombo.

To cater to the dynamics of the trade between the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, we offer a competitive range of dedicated short sea services in the region.

Via major transshipment hubs we connect outports in North Europe, the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Arab Gulf to our network.
