ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL
Every registered member of the parish should
have received the yearly mailing for the Annual
Appeal. This appeal is separate from the
Endowment Campaign, Faith to Move
Mountains. Please consider giving a donation of
any size to the annual appeal. It does help fund
necessary expenses of the diocese such as
seminarian formation. Our participation in this
appeal has historically been low, with less than
ten percent of the parish contributing. Please
consider supporting this appeal this year and each
year going forward. Thank-you.
INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY
On behalf of our Guests from IHN, I would like
to thank all of you for making this Host Week so
comfortable once again. During this week we
housed 4 families which included 5 adults, and 5
children ages 8, 7, 4, 18 months and a 4-month-
old.
This Host Week, we saw volunteers of all ages,
make sacrifices to make our families feel safe,
warm and supported during this Lenten Season.
Thanks to all of you who helped with set up,
grocery shopping, donating gift cards, meal
preparation, hosting, sleeping, phone calls, break
down, and laundry. Because we had many
volunteers, we were able to share the work and
share the LOVE! Thank You!!! (We can always
use new volunteers to help out with Hosting,
Meal Prep, Sleeping and Laundry)
Thank you also to our Parish Priests who are so
supportive in our Ministry. We would also like to
thank Saint Vincent de Paul Society, The Knights
of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, Saint Mary’s
Guild, The Islamic Center of Toms River and
Students at Georgian Court University who were
all extremely helpful during this Host Week.
Our next guests from Interfaith Hospitality
Network will arrive on Sunday, May 13 and will
stay until Sunday, May 20. We are always
looking for new volunteers to help; make it a
family evening or sleepover or just come over
and help set up or break down.
Thank you for making this ministry a part of our
Parish. For more information: Pat Rainer, 732-
300-8288 or e-mail [email protected]

ADVERTISING IN THE BULLETIN
Please consider advertising in the bulletin. The
income from ad sales not only pays for the cost of
the printing of the bulletin, but also generates
extra revenue.
You can arrange to place an ad or ask any
questions about advertising by calling the parish
office and asking to speak to either Cori or
Josette.
Also, please consider using the services of those
who do advertise in the bulletin and let them
know you saw their ad in our bulletin. Thanks.

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
NEW PARISH RESOURCE:
FORMED NETWORK
Our parish has joined FORMED, an online
website that contains Catholic videos, and
downloadable audio or e-books. The site contains
series on Catholic Theology and Spirituality.
Over the course of next few years, we will be
utilizing these resources for group formation such
as Bible studies, catechist enrichment, prayer
groups, and small faith sharing groups.
The resources on FORMED can be used just by
individuals, or, used in group settings. Of note is
a weekly commentary on the Sunday readings
and a series on basic Catholic theology called
“Symbolon.”
The FORMED website is available to all
registered parishioners and everyone who live
within the parish boundaries, which is the
boundaries of Lakewood. To access the website,
you need to register first. You do that by:
1. Go to formed.org on your web browser
2. Click the button: ENTER CODE
Enter our parish code, all caps: YRP6YV
3. Enter your name, email, and a password. In
the future, the next time you enter the
FORMED site, all you will need is to enter
your email address and password. On most
web browsers, they have a feature that will
automatically enter your info when you log
on, if you care to use it to make logging on
easier in the future. Since this is not a high
target web site for hackers (we doubt anyone
would want to steal your FORMED access),
we suggest you keep your password simple
and different from your high-value websites,
such as your online banking. The site does
require that the password contain at least one
number and one special character (such as: ! $
#). Write your password down and keep it in a
handy place.
Once you’re in, explore the site’s resources!

18 Marzec 2018-niedziela - V tydzień Wielkiego postu - rok B/II
Prawdę tę dobrze ilustruje życie i śmierć św.
