Christmas celebration. Did you know that the song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas” is a Catholic Song? Here’s a little history regarding this holiday favorite and what each element means. “The Twelve Days of Christmas” is an English carol which was written as a catechism song for young Catholics during 1558 to 1829 when it was illegal to practice openly. Each element is a code which was only known to the members of the Church. Let’s take a closer look at each one. On the ______ day of Christmas my true love (Jesus Christ) gave to me, January 5
