A Final Message From Monsignor Parizek
Reflecting on the 14 years I have served as the Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Parish, I am pleased to see a vibrant parish and school communi-ty that is dynamic and responsive to the needs of the parish and school. I am particularly happy about the addition of our parish gathering space and the new offices and classrooms added to our school. Both projects have been long held dreams and to see them come to fruition during my time at OLV is rewarding.
I have been encouraged to see the efforts to grow the foundation’s endowment fund in re-cent years and I support the efforts of the board to grow the endowment to $1 million. The opportunity for donors to designate the funds they support within the endowment is helpful in encouraging greater involvement in supporting the foundation by members of the parish community. I appreciate the foundation board members who are applying their professional expertise to serve the parish in this helpful way.
May our parish and school community continue to be grateful for the many gifts each par-ish member has and to rejoice when these gifts are shared to benefit the school and par-ish. My departing words of wisdom as you welcome Father Jake as your new pastor are to be slow to judge and quick to follow, and assist and support him as he assumes the role of Pastor of the parish.

What is an Endowment?
An endowment is like a savings
account. When a donor makes an
endowment gift to the Foundation, the
Foundation agrees not to spend the
principal value of their gift and instead
holds it into perpetuity. The gift is
invested and only the earnings from the
fund can be spent by the Foundation.
Celebrating Continued
Growth as a Foundation
The Foundation has distributed
over $200,000 to our parish from the investment earnings.
Our distribution this year has reached a new record $22,000.
Donors may designate their gifts to 6 different funds:

Looking Forward
The Foundation Board is excited to announce our Legacy
Giving Campaign to reach $1,000,000 in our endowment by
2020. This ambitious goal, when reached, will provide an
annual income distribution to our parish of approximately
$50,000 for generations to come. We are pleased to share
that with the generous support of parishioners throughout
the year, we have $500,000 in hand towards our goal. We
invite you to join us by investing as a member of the Legacy
Giving Campaign. Honoring the pastors of OLV who have
served the parish faithfully throughout the years, the follow-
ing Legacy Giving Levels have been established:
Msgr. James Parizek Victory Level $10,000 per year (for 5 years)
Fr. William Meyer Meritus Level $5000 per year (for 5 years)
Fr. William Kaska Heritage Level $2500 per year (for 5 years)
Fr. Kenneth Martin Founders Level $1000 per year (for 5 years)
300 Club $300 per year (for 7 years)

more about how you can leave a legacy gift through this
effort. Your participation is in addition to your regular
