Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College
Dear Family and Friends,
In celebrating Regnet Christus Day we deliberately take the time to shine a light on the collective pursuit of excellence here at the College. In this our 80th year it has been a great privilege and delight to celebrate the enormous contribution OLSH College Bentleigh has made to our world. Across these 80 years the College has been filled with people who live and treasure the spirit that we call OLSH. It began with the faithful commitment of our OLSH sisters – they were, and are, the pioneering women, the risk takers who passionately shared the love of God with so many. And today in 2018 it is we who carry that same spirit. This spirit is a strength within us that draws us together and so in truth we can say OLSH College Bentleigh is a place where God’s spirit is alive, is felt and is active.
May the Sacred heart of Jesus be Everywhere Loved. Forever! Regnet Christus – May Christ Reign

$20.00 Bosses
Congratulations to two of OLSH College’s Year 8 IGNITE students, Sanjana Suresh
Kumar and Isabella Di Conza, who have been announced as the Victorian winners of
the Foundation for Young Australians $20 Boss Program.
Their business was called BrownEE and they sold homemade brownies made from
ethically sourced ingredients. They also encouraged their customers to bring their own
container or simply go without to reduce the amount of plastic wastage to create
environmental awareness. It was a challenge finding information about ethically
produced ingredients but their dedication paid off and increased the awareness of
ethical food products amongst their customers.
‘BrownEE’ made $577.80 in profit in eight days and donated all of their profits to the
OLSH College Overseas Missions.
