PLENARY INDULGENCE FOR 100 YEARS OF THE APPEARANCES OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA
To obtain the plenary indulgence, the faithful must also fulfill the ordinary
conditions:
Go to Confession and Communion
Be in a state of grace, ie without sin
Pray for the intentions of the Holy Father
In addition to the above, the pious faithful with a devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, should visit a statue of Our Lady of Fatima solemnly exposed for public veneration in any church, oratory or proper place during the days of the anniversary of the apparitions, the 13th of each month from May to October 2017, and there devoutly participate in some celebration or prayer in honor of the Virgin Mary. On the 13th day of the months of June through October, we will have a statue or image of Our Lady of Fatima for veneration in our Parish chapel
from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Those seeking an indulgence must also pray an Our Father, recite the Creed
and pray to Our of Lady of Fatima.
For those who are unable to get around either due to age, illness or other serious cause, you may pray in front of a statue or image of Our Lady of Fatima at your residence and spiritually unite yourselves with the jubilee celebrations on the days of the apparitions, the 13th of each month between May and October 2017, and offer to merciful God with confidence, through Mary, your prayers, sufferings
and the sacrifices you make in your own lives.

INDULGENCIA PLENARIA POR LOS 100 AÑOS DE LAS APARICIONES DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DE FÁTIMA
Para obtener la indulgencia plenaria, los fieles cristianos deben cumplir con las siguientes condiciones:
Estar debidamente confesados y recibir la Sagrada Comunión
Estar en Gracia de Dios, es decir, no estar en pecado.
Rezar por las intenciones del Papa.
Además de lo anterior, los Fieles Cristianos que muestran su devoción a Nuestra Señora de Fátima, deben visitar una Imagen de Nuestra Señora de Fátima solemnemente expuesta para la veneración pública en cualquier iglesia, oratorio o lugar apropiado durante los días del aniversario de las apariciones, el día 13 de cada mes de mayo a octubre del 2017, y allí participar devotamente en alguna celebración ú oración en honor de la Virgen María. Durante los meses de Junio a Octubre, nosotros tendremos una Imagen de Nuestra Señora de Fátima en nuestra capilla parroquial de 8 am a 5 pm. Los días 13 para que ustedes se puedan ganar la Indulgencia.
Aquellos que quieran ganarse una indulgencia también deben rezar un Padre Nuestro, recitar el Credo y rezar una oración a Nuestra Señora de Fátima.
Para aquellos que no pueden trasladarse debido a la edad, enfermedad u otra causa grave, pueden orar enfrente de una Imagen de Nuestra Señora de Fátima en su casa o lugar de residencia y así se unen espiritualmente a las celebraciones del Jubileo en los días de las apariciones, el 13 de cada mes entre mayo y octubre del 2017, y de esta manera ofrecen a Dios misericordioso con toda confianza y por la intercesión de María, sus oraciones, sus sufrimientos y los sacrificios que hacen en sus propias vidas.

The California Interfaith Power & Light, Community UCC, UU Fresno and the Catholic Diocese of Fresno present Our Faith, Our Air, Our Climate: A Dialogue for Action on Monday, May 22nd in Hayes

Here in Fresno, faith communities have become a major player in the struggle to protect our health and climate, working tirelessly to transform our city and region into a healthy, sustainable place with a strong
economy and deep sense of community.
A panel of faith and community organization representatives will speak about environmental challenges and working solutions in Fresno, including Rev. Chris Breedlove of Community UCC; Grecia Elenes of the Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability; and Genevieve Gale of the Central Valley Air Quality (CVAC) Coalition. Jim Grant of the Catholic Diocese
of Fresno will provide opening remarks.
