2015 CARDINAL’S ANNUAL
STEWARDSHIP APPEAL
The “2015 Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal”
has begun throughout the Archdiocese of New York.
A letter from Cardinal Dolan should be arriving in the
mail shortly, explaining the Appeal in more detail; in
fact some may have already received their letter.
As you may know, the money raised by this Annual
Appeal is used to support Catholic Schools, Hospitals,
Homeless-Shelters and other various Charitable
Organizations throughout the Archdiocese.
Every parish as been assigned a goal from the
Archdiocese to strive to attain. Our goal this year is
$52,500. Last year Mt. Carmel actually surpassed the
goal. Let us hope and pray that we will be able to do
the same this year.
We will be conducting an “In-pew” Solicitation Drive
at all the Masses, sometime in March.
More information will be forthcoming in the next few
weeks.
ST. BLAISE – BLESSING OF THROATS We will have a blessing of throats at the 7:00am Mass in the Chapel this Tuesday, February 3rd.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK – COMMUNION
FOR THE HOMEBOUND If you know someone who is sick and shut-in and
would like to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing
of the Sick, please call the Priory at 343-4121 so that
Fr. John can visit.
If you know someone who is homebound and unable
to come to church, if they would like to receive the
Eucharist you may also call the Priory at the same
number for a minister to visit with the Eucharist.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone who desires an
anointing or that those who wish to receive the
Eucharist but are unable to come to Mass is visited
by Fr. John or a Eucharistic Minister.
