Welcome to Holy Spirit Lutheran!
Thank you for worshiping with us today. Whether you are a member, a
regular guest or a newcomer, we are happy to have you with us. The people
and pastors of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church are committed to meeting you
wherever you are on your journey in faith. If you are visiting and would like
to know more about our church and our faith, please fill out the Connection
Card in the back of the chair in front of you and place it in the offering plate.
COMMUNION PROCEDURES
Everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is truly present in the sacrament and
sincerely wishes to commune with Him is welcome to participate. Children may
come forward for a blessing. When you receive the wafer, you may dip it into
the wine (red) or grape juice (white). Gluten Free wafer available upon request.
If you would like to participate in the sacraments but are unable to come
forward, please inform an usher and communion will be brought to you.
EVERYONE IS INVITED FOR REFRESHMENTS out on the patio. Please take a
moment to share greetings and joy with one another. Make some new friends by
introducing yourself to others.

service. Please ask the ushers for a bag. At the end of the service, return it to the
usher so a child at another service can use the Bible Bag.

asking that you bring non-perishable food items to donate to our food
pantry. The goal weight of food that we are challenged to raise this year is
3,645 pounds. The goal weight is based on the weight of all our confirmation
students and adult volunteers. The food will be brought to the food pantry and
distributed to under resourced families here in our community before
Thanksgiving. If every person in our congregation brings 10 pounds of food we
will go over the goal weight with no problem. Items most needed are: pasta,
pasta sauce, rice, dry black beans, canned fruit, canned tuna, canned chicken,
canned tomatoes, canned black beans, canned vegetables, cereal, small bag
sugar, small bag flour, jelly, peanut butter, small cooking oil, salt, pepper, toilet
paper. Thank you for responding to Jesus’ call to feed the hungry.
