Our public consultation and participation services are based on the foundations of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) and years of experience working in collaboration with project developers, regulators and communities. Our breadth of experience demonstrates how we navigate through complex and often competing stakeholder interests to build consensus for our clients: Bridgepoint Health – planned and implemented stakeholder engagement program to counter community and political opposition and achieve regulatory approvals for a $275 million redevelopment plan Calgary Regional Partnership developed and advised on communication details for draft regional land-use plan to the public and stakeholders and developed all communications materials for 15 open houses City of Calgary – developed program to build support and proactively mitigate concerns around proposed CFB West traffic management measures among impacted communities, community traffic representatives/committees and internal City department stakeholders Corridor Resources – developed communications materials and long- term strategy to address community opposition group, reach stakeholders and provide a deeper understanding of natural underground salt storage project Enbridge Pipelines planned and executed a public consultation program for two major pipeline developments crossing three provinces and including 10 community open houses Enbridge Gas Distribution developed a community relations program, based on extensive research, to change the perception that Enbridge is a natural gas provider to a developer of green, sustainable power, which increased support for its 115-turbine wind farm in Ontario Group EBI – provided counsel and support during the company’s application for a sanitary landfill expansion project in the Montreal area Halifax Port Authority – developed a community consultation program to support the redevelopment of the seawall Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission – provided strategic counsel for communications and stakeholder engagement around the release of Cross-Harbour Traffic Needs Assessment

    InTransitBC planned, implemented and reported on a series of 14 public consultation meetings on detailed station design for the $1.9 billion Canada Line rapid transit project in Richmond and Vancouver, B.C.

    Nestl Waters Canada developed and implemented an enhanced stakeholder relations campaign and an executive visibility campaign to improve the communitys perception and achieve renewal for a Permit to Take Water

    Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery supported regulatory approval process to build a new mausoleum, including the participation in public hearings of the Office de consultation publique de Montral, which was in charge of assessing the projects impacts

    Ontario Ministry of Energy planned, managed and coordinated logistics for a series of public consultation and information events on the Ontario Power Authoritys Supply Mix Report amid intense public and media scrutiny

    Ontario Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry developed and implemented a strategic multi-pronged program, including traditional public consultations and use of collaborative online consultation tool, to maximize input on modernizing the forest tenure and pricing system in Ontario

    Sundre Petroleum Operators Group participated for five years in the growth and development of a 30-company, 12-community sustained public consultation process in a community with intense oil and gas development

    Synenco planned and recommended an oil sands mega-project stakeholder engagement process to support regulatory applications

    Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation developed and implemented a community consultation plan in support of a new marine terminal and pipeline to deliver jet fuel to the airport

    Viger DMC International implemented a series of public consultation events with public and government stakeholders to change perceptions and remove hostility towards the rehabilitation of the old station-hotel Viger site, a cultural and heritage building
