I. About Our Company

History

Mrs. Cheffy & Company, Inc or Mrs. Cheffy’s was established on May 31, 2013 as the food service

arm of Professional Academy for Culinary Education. The corporation aims to provide a catering

company that will service the on-premise and off-premise meal requirements of both individuals and

corporate accounts.

Mission:

Mrs. Cheffy will serve the various food and beverage requirement of individuals and groups. Mrs.

Cheffy aims to make a difference in the catering industry by employing high sanitation standards,

honest and sincere professional service and high quality dishes that we also educate in our culinary

school.

Vision:

The company will be the caterer of choice of individuals and institutions for its superior quality foods

and excellent service.

Our motto sets us apart from other caterers. We take pride in the dishes and services we provide to

our valued clients. We put a lot of premium in the careful and delicate process of preparation ensuring

that the food we serve are of high quality and prepared in a professional way. Our services give

OUR TEAM:

Chef Abner Lowell Cauilan Co-Founder, Mrs Cheffy Catering and PACE Inc. Our Executive Chef for Mrs Cheffy has spent almost 2 decades of his professional life dedicated to the culinary industry. Chef Lowell’s humble beginnings as a demo chef in 1997 inspired him to take the practice to the next level. He was the first ever academic scholar of a pioneer culinary school in our country and it opened the doors of opportunity for him. Through passion and hard work, he progressed from Sous Chef to Executive Chef in various restaurants including C2 Restaurant, Manila Polo Club and MERALCO’s executive dining and its subsidiary, MMLDC. Managing the facility’s banquet and restaurant operations daily for almost a decade.

A true student of the art, Chef Lowell himself still immerses himself in continuing education with his trainings and travels to learn first-hand our region’s rich culinary heritage as well as the other cuisines. He founded Professional Academy for Culinary Education in 2012 and now leads a team of culinary instructors. Through PACE and Mrs Cheffy, he is able to give back and share his knowledge and experiences to aspiring culinarians and the dining customers.

Chef Catherine Joy U. Ong Co-Founder, Mrs Cheffy Catering and PACE Inc. Chef Catz is a young and dynamic chef who set her sights in establishing a culinary institution taking inspiration from her own experiences as a student herself and as an entrepreneur. She graduated with a degree in management and immediately pursued further training in Culinary Arts and Technology Management where she was one of the excellent students of her batch.

She was trained and mentored by seasoned chefs while learning the culinary practice most of which she spent managing the kitchen operations of C3 Restaurant). She later on utilized both her culinary skills as well as her management skills as a Chef Consultant to different institutions.

Her dedication to the craft inspired her to partner with different stakeholders to establish Mrs Cheffy’s where she now manages the operations activities of the catering company and ensures delivery of quality service and products to Mrs Cheffy’s customers.

Ms. Fiona Flores Co-Founder, Mrs Cheffy Catering and PACE Inc. Fiona prides herself in being a self-made entrepreneur. She has been working in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry for more than a decade at different levels of engagement. She started her career in hotel sales where she learned the fundamentals of customer relations and then moved on to manage a team in banquet sales of one of the top corporations of our country. While in the sales practice, she was immersed in different facets of customer oriented initiatives including customer relations, event coordination and management and business development. Fiona believes that by understanding her product well, she would be able to better serve Mrs Cheffy’s customers more effectively that is why she pushed her boundaries once again and took up Culinary Arts and immersed herself in the kitchen operations of Mrs Cheffy. Fiona also competed and excelled in internationally sanctioned competitions to raise her standards and exposure to culinary arts. She now leads the Sales and Marketing Team of Mrs Cheffy. Chef Monicca Dechavez Pastry Chef, Consultant Chef Nikki is a rare combination of a chef who can competently do cooking and baking. She has been in the practice for a decade now and further honed her training by working in different countries like in New Zealand and the US. Chef Nikki was exposed to the highest possible standards in the profession that enabled her to move up in the ranks and her recent stint is her work as a head chef of an upcoming hotel’s restaurant and successfully opened a new restaurant in the busy city of Cebu. She now works as culinary instructor in PACE and a consultant for Mrs Cheffy’s creating and developing menus.
