What is OSN Play?

OSN Play is an on-demand, online service that you can access from your PC, Mac, iPad and Android Tablets.

What can I watch?

OSN Play offers you 100s of hours of premium entertainment including movies, series, comedy, Arabic series, cooking, lifestyle,talk shows, and sports. And, weÒre adding lots of new content each month.

How much does it cost?

OSN Play is included as part of your OSN TV subscription at no addit ional cost .

Can I watch the same content that I can with my OSN TV package?

You can watch a lot of the same content , but not all. OSN Play has three content levels:OSN Play 1 for our Platinum HD and Premier HD customersOSN Play 2 for our Movies customersOSN Play 3 available to all our subscribers

Why canÒt I watch the same content on OSN Play as I watch on OSN TV?

OSN Play current ly shows a select ion of the shows and movies that you can watch with your OSN TV subscription as well ascontent that is not currently available on OSN TV. WeÒre planning to add lots of new content every month.

If my OSN TV subscription is cancelled can I use OSN Play?

No, you need to have an active OSN TV subscription to enjoy OSN Play. To pay an outstanding amount, click on Secure Paymentin My OSN and reconnect your services. Alternatively, you can call us make a payment over the phone.

If I cancel my OSN TV subscription do I need to cancel OSN Play?

No, once you have cancelled your OSN TV subscription, your OSN Play account will be inact ive.

OSN Play registrat ion and account management

How do I register for OSN Play?

To register for OSN Play, you need to be at home and tuned into an OSN channel. HereÒs how to register Using the computerthat you want to register as your main device, log on to www.osn.com and then: 1. Click on the regist ration icon. 2. Enter yourOSN Smartcard number of your main OSN TV subscription. 3. Create your username and password. 4. Enter your e-mail address. 5.Agree to the Terms and Condit ions. Once you have created your OSN ID, you will receive an on-screen verificat ion code throughyour OSN Box, which will stay on your TV screen for 60 seconds. DonÒt worry if you miss this we also send this code as a TV mailthrough your OSN BoxÌ this may take up to 30 minutes to arrive. We will then send you an email link which you will need to clickon to cont inue the regist rat ion process. 6. Click on the link, enter your user id, password and the authorization code 7. You willsee a welcome message on screen. YouÒre now ready to start watching OSN Play.

I registered prior to March 19 and already have an OSN ID. Do I need to re-register?

Yes, when you t ry to access OSN Play, youÒll be automat ically re-directed to the regist ration page. To complete the registrat ionprocess and start viewing you need to provide a valid email address and the authorizat ion code that will be sent to your OSNBox. See detailed steps in ÔHow to RegisterÒ

How many digital devices can I register with OSN Play?

You can register up to two devices for OSN Play (PC or Mac.) The first two devices you use to watch OSN Play will beautomatically registered to your OSN account . You have the opportunity to add or remove one of these devices every 60 days.Simply sign into My OSN, go to the Set tings menu and select Manage Devices. If you t ry and sign in on a new device thatÒs notregistered with us, youÒll be directed to the device management page.

I have multiple subscript ions. How many devices can I register with each subscript ion?

You can register OSN Play on up to two devices (PC or Mac) for each paid OSN TV subscript ion.

Can I manage all my subscriptions with a single OSN ID?

No, you need to register each separate subscript ion using a different OSN ID for each OSN TV subscript ion.

I am a new subscriber to OSN TV but I canÒt register for OSN Play

Your OSN TV subscription needs to be active before you can use OSN Play. Please call us and weÒll act ivate your account .

Can I watch OSN Play on all my computers?

You can watch OSN Play on a maximum of two devices (PC or Mac) both at the same t ime using two of your OSN IDs.The first two devices you use to watch OSN Play will be automat ically registered to your account . If you have more than twocomputers or laptops, you can easily change which two are registered to OSN Play. Simply sign in to My OSN, go to Set tingsmenu and select Manage Devices.

Can I change the devices IÒve registered?

Yes, just sign in to My OSN, go to Set t ings and select Manage Devices. You can add or remove devices that are registered toOSN Play. Once youÒve registered your two devices every 60 days youÒll have the chance to remove or replace one computer orlaptop.

Where can I check which devices IÒve registered?

Checking is easy. Just sign into My OSN, go to Sett ings menu and select Manage Devices. You can remove devices and registernew ones.

WhatÒs a sub-account?

A sub-account allows different members of your household to watch OSN Play on either of your two registered devices.

How many sub-accounts can I have?

You can create three sub-accounts.

WhatÒs the benefit of having a sub-account?

A sub-account allows each user to have their own personal experience. A sub-account also gives you the added assurance ofparental control over the shows your family watches.

How do I create a sub-account?

1. Go to My OSN 2. Click on OSN Play Set tings. 3. Go to Sub-account/ Parental sett ings. 4. Click on Add New OSN sub- account. 5.Enter the email id for the sub-account user and set the Parental set t ings eg PG or 15. 6. Click on Invite and an invitat ion emailwill be sent to your sub-account user. 7. Once the sub-account user receives the invitation email they will need to create theirown OSN ID. The sub-account user can only view content on either of the two devices that have been registered. If the sub-account user does not have an email address you can use your own registered email to complete the process.

How do I manage my sub-accounts?

If you would like to add a new sub-account , delete an exist ing sub-account or edit the parental set ting of a sub-account , hereÒshow: 1. Go to My OSN 2. Click on OSN Play sett ings. 3. Go to Sub-account / Parental set t ings. 4. Add, delete or edit the details.

How often can I change my sub-accounts?

You can change your sub-accounts as many t imes as you like.

How can I increase the content that my sub-account user can view?

1. Go to My OSN 2. Click on OSN Play set t ings. 3. Go to Sub-account / Parental sett ings. 4. Amend the Parental set t ings to increasethe amount of content if this has been set too low.

OSN Play Login technical faqs

I canÒt watch on my Mac.

For OSN Play to work on a Mac, it must be Intel-based.

My OSN Smartcard is invalid

Remove the OSN Smartcard from your primary act ive OSN Box and check the number. If the number you entered is correct , butyouÒre st ill gett ing an invalid message, check if your subscription is active.

My OSN Smartcard is blocked or cancelled

Please check that you have an act ive OSN TV subscript ion.

Invalid subscriber type

In order to use OSN Play you must have an act ive OSN Box and OSN TV subscript ion. If youÒre enjoying OSN as a cable customer,commercial customer, or in a Hotel, you wonÒt be able to register for OSN Play at this time. Stay tuned.

My password is invalid

You will get this message if you have not entered enough characters or spaces. Make sure you use 6 or more characters anddonÒt use any spaces A strong password has 8 characters or more with a combinat ion of upper and lower case let ters, numbersand symbols. The strength meter will show you how strong your password is.

My email is invalid

Check that youÒve used a valid email address and please re- try.

Password mismatch

Make sure you enter the same password on the Confirm password line.

I did not receive a confirmat ion email

Please check your spam or junk mail folder of your email account. If itÒs not there, go back to the registrat ion process andrequest a confirmat ion email.

I did not receive a TV mail through my OSN Box

Go back to the registrat ion process and request another TV mail to be sent. Make sure youÒre on an OSN channel. Remember,the TV mail could take up to 30 minutes to arrive.

How do I open the TV mail sent through my OSN Box?

To access the TV mail using your remote.. 1. Press Menu. 2. Scroll to TV Mail, click OK. 3. Click on Messages. 4. Scroll to theMessage and click OK to view. Or alternat ively press the TV mail but ton on your remote control

Registrat ion blocked

The TV mail sent to your OSN Box will be valid for 48 hours. Please note, that you must complete the ent ire regist rat ion processwithin the 48 hours of receiving the TV mail. If you are not able to complete within 48 hours, you will need to start theregist rat ion process again.

OSN Play Login errors

Device not registered

You can only watch OSN Play using the devices you registered. If this is your first t ime watching OSN Play, your device will beautomatically registered.

Invalid user name

If youÒre an existing customer, please check your username and enter the username that you gave when registering your device.If you canÒt remember your user name, please follow the steps in the Forgot User id sect ion.

Invalid password

Please check your password. Make sure you use the same password you used when registering your device.

Forgot OSN ID

If you forgot your OSN ID 1. Click on Forgot ID icon. 2. Enter your OSN Smartcard number. 3. Enter the email address that you usedto register with. 4. Enter the code displayed (on the browser). 5. Click on Get OSN ID. An email will be sent to you with your userid and your password will remain unchanged.

Forgot Password

Click on Forgot Password icon. 1. Enter your OSN ID. 2. Enter the email address that you used to register with. A temporarypassword will be sent to you. You can change this to something more memorable when you log in again.

Account blocked

Please check that your OSN TV subscription is active.

My sub-accounts have been blocked

Please check that your OSN TV subscription is active. If youÒve updated your email address your account and sub-accounts willbe temporarily blocked unt il you verify your email change by clicking on the link that we will send you.

What do I require to pick up the channels?

To receive OSN you need an OSN HD decoder box, to be properly installed using the appropriate Dish & LNB PLUS an OSNsubscription Smart Card.

How do I rescan my decoder?

Press the "Menu" but ton on remote control Select "Set tings" from the list and press OK Select "System Setup" and press OK Enterthe code 0000 and press OK Select "Free Scan" and press OK Select "Satellite Scan" and press OK Enter the desired channelsfrequency and parameters and press OK Press the Green but ton on your remote control and select "Yes, cont inue"

How do I set parental control?

PARENTAL CONTROL gives you the ability to choose which channels or even which programmes can be viewed in your home. TheOSN rat ing system (Fam to 18), on screen communicat ion highlight ing the suitability of certain programmes and the technologyin our decoder provides you with all the control you need to easily restrict or completely block certain programmes or channelsas you want . Where available we provide Dolby Digital Surround Sound via either HDMI, Coaxial or Optical digital outputs depending on theset- top-box you have with OSN. To playback surround sound at home you will need to connect to a Dolby Digital cert ifiedhome cinema system. To enjoy the highest quality we advise you calibrate your home cinema system first , as per themanufactures guidelines. If you would prefer to listen in stereo, you can choose to output stereo through the Audio Set t ings onyou set- top-box. The audio set t ings can be found by pressing Menu on your OSN remote and choosing the following sub menusÛSettingsÙ Ì ÛUser PreferencesÙ- ÛAudioÙ and when prompted enter the PIN 0000 To listen in Stereo select ÛStereoÙ in theÛpreferred audioÙ sect ion. To listen in Surround select ÛDolbyÙ in the Ûpreferred audioÙ section.

Troubleshoot ing

"E-45 Searching For Signal At .." 75% of E45 on-screen messages can be resolved by reboot ing the decoder. Digital decoders arelike computers and they may occasionally freeze or "lock-up". Disconnect the power to the decoder by unplugging the wallsocket and re-plugging it. This should rect ify most cases. "E-16 Service Is Current ly Scrambled" Check that you are watching anOSN channel to which you have subscribed.
