ASE was started in 1975 ASE is a non-profit organization. To become Master certified a

technician must be certified in all 8 automotive certification areas.


ASE test are given 2 times per year. Anyone taking and ASE test must

show 2 years automotive service experience.

High School automotive experience can count for 1 years experience.
