Who we are Orient design was set up on 18th July 2005 by Orient Garments, Fascination Exports and Gihan Nanayakkara to cater for the 8 factories in the group employing nearly 6000 workers .Orient Design center has 12 full time designers headed by Gihan Nanayakkara CEO/Creative Director; all the designers are qualified from various reputed institutions ranging from London College of Fashion and our own Moratuwa University. While the Design team does Design and Product development for many prestigious US and European customers, our factories produce for brands of the caliber of Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, Esprit, Next, Tesco, Ralph Lauren and Timberland.
