Three familiar bankruptcy institute presenters and a new face will highlight this year’s event. Professor Nancy Rapoport returns with more ethics; Professor Laurie Levenson brings her interactive and engaging evidence session to the institute; and Eric Brunstad shares U.S. Supreme Court cases every bankruptcy attorney should know. Newcomer Patrick Maxcy will join a panel that includes retired bankruptcy judge Liz Perris for a session on insurance in bankruptcy. Four breakout sessions will offer the latest on ethics, means testing, receiverships, and the Chapter 13 national plan.

University of Oregon School of Law professor Erik Girvan will provide insight about implicit bias at Friday’s lunch presentation, while this year the institute welcomes Oregon and Washington’s two newest bankruptcy judges to the Judges Panel.
