From the Principal’s Desk
It is disappointing to watch adult behaviour in our back car park. This area is on school grounds and therefore we have rules for all drivers to abide by when transporting their children. Please be aware that many of our students are entitled to free bus travel. There is other parking on the surrounds of the school. Consider the benefits of exercise and park across from Jubilee oval and walk and talk with your children.
Thank you to the families who have donated Easter eggs to the raffle. The more donations - the more prizes! Returned sold tickets can go to teachers or office.
I discussed at the P&C meeting that there is a general shortage of teachers in Dubbo. This has an effect of class organisation on some days.
Parent/teacher interviews were very well attended last Wednesday. Your children would appreciate that you value this important part of their life- their education.

Canteen News - Meal Deal orders are due by Wednesday 3 April 2019, no late orders. This is the only lunches that will be available on the day. Colouring competitions are to be handed in with the lunch orders. Flexischools have asked if lunch orders for Friday’s can be ordered on Thursdays to hopefully avoid Flexischools computer system crashing.
Easter Raffle - Thank you to those families who have donated Easter chocolates for our raffle. Below are some of the prizes.
School Dance Venue: Orana Heights Public School Auditorium Date: Thursday 4th April 2019 Kindergarten, Year 1 & 2 - 4:00pm – 5:15pm Year 3 and Year 4 - 5:30pm – 6:45pm Year 5 and Year 6 - 7:00pm – 8:15pm Cost - $5.00 - (Entry to dance, a drink, and a treat)
Dress – Fluro/Neon
Glow Products will be available $1 each or 3 for $2.00
