Customer understands the potential of providing the video service for its subscribers however their large data volumes and current legacy architecture are ineffective. Sun Oracle DB Machine was the answer to performance issues faced by its legacy application.

The largest among all overseas listed Chinese companies and among all the telecom carriers in Asia based on market value.
CHALLENGES/OPPORTUNITIES
The AAA processing system is a Mobile Video Center which serves mobile video service to subscribers. The current system is unable to process subscriber requests as per the expected service levels due to heavy traffic and I/O bottleneck.
In addition customer and SI does not have the experience to run a RAC system effectively.
SOLUTIONS
