1. Introduction The scope of this document is to define the procedure for setting up a new Application Server in the Production Environment. The main steps of the procedure are:

• Install required software • Setup and configure Oracle IAS • Setup and configure Application

2. Pre-Requisites In order to install Flexcube on a new server the operating system on the server should be Windows 2003 Standard Edition with SP1 Note: Administrator privileges are required for the user who is doing the installation.


3. Installing Oracle AS 10g EE Rel. 9.0.4.0.1 1. Insert CD1 10G application server 9.0.4.0.1.

2. When Autorun page displayed click "INSTALL".


3. In "WELCOME" Screen press "Next".


4. Specify The Source Location, the Oracle_Home Name and the Destination Path.


5. Select a Product to Install. Select "Oracle Infrastructure".


6. Select Installation Type “Identity management and OracleAS Metadata Repository”.


Click "Next".


7. Select the all the components as shown above.


8. Specify Namespace as shown above


9. Let the database Name and SID be the default as shown above.


10. Enter SYS and System Passwords flexcube


11. Provide Database File Location


12. Select “Use the default character set”


13. Enter the Instance Name and ias_admin Password --> flexcube1


14. Click “Install”


14. Installation Continues


15. End of Installation. Click Exit to finish the installation of Infrastructure and continue with Middle Tier


MidTier Installation:- Run setup.exe from media (CD ,DVD or HDD folder) Oracle Universal Installer starts and the following screen appears

1. Click “Next”


2. Enter the Destination Folder Name and provide the path


3. Select “Oracle Application Server 10g”


4. Select “Business Intelligence and Forms”


5. Click Next


6. Choose Oracle AS 10g Reports Services and Oracle AS 10g Forms Services option and click Next


7. Enter Port = 389


8. Enter Password --> flexcube1


9. Click Next


10. Click Next


11. Specify the Instance Name and ias-admin Password flexcube1


12. A summary of the product that will be install is shown click Install to proceed with the installation




14. Click Exit to finish the installation of Middle Tier


15. End of Installation.


4. Installing Oracle Patch 9.0.4.1.1 Update Middle-tier Home Run setup.exe from media (CD ,DVD or HDD folder)

1. Click Next


2. Provide Software Update and enter the Destination folder name and Path


3. Select Oracle Application Server 10g Software Update


4. Enter Password flexcube1


5. Enter Password flexcube1 After Next button is Clicked the following message appears

6. Click OK


7. Click Install


8. Installation continues


9. End of installation. Click Exit


Upgrade Ias10gInfra Run setup.exe from media (CD ,DVD or HDD folder)

1. Provide Source file location and Destination Folder name and Path name


2. Select Oracle Application Server 10g Software Update


3. Enter Password for ocrladmin user flexcube1


1. 4. Enter Password for SYS flexcube and click Next The following Message appears


5. Click OK

6. Click Install






9. End of Installation. Click Exit


Metadata repository update for Ias10gInfra Run setup.exe from media (CD ,DVD or HDD folder)

2. Enter the Source path and Destination Folder and Path


3. Select Oracle Application Server 10g Metadata Repository Update and click

Next The following Message appears

4. Click OK


5. Select Immediately install the update






8. Click Next


9. Select OracleAS 10g Portal The following Message appears

10. Click OK


11. Click Install


13. Installation Continues and then you get a screen for End Of installation.
