Lubrication of ConcreteBatching Plant
Concrete Batching Plant
A combined system used for the centralized mixing of concrete, also
known as concrete precast yard.
Concrete Batching Plant
Concrete Batching plant: The aggregate silo (container for sand and gravel) is at the bottom. After the aggregate is metered, it needs to be conveyed by the inclined belt to the mixer, i.e. the aggregate must be lifted twice (once into the aggregate silo and once from the aggregate silo to the mixer).

The motor is decelerated by the V-belt drive and the planetary reducer, and the power is
transmitted to the stirring spindle via the spline shaft and the spline bushing. ;At the same
time, the two speed reducers are connected in synchronization with the drive shaft to ensure
the synchronization of the two mixing spindles.
By injecting the grease, back pressure is createdto resist the entry of theconcrete slurry.

Lubricationchallenges When the shaft end seal fails, the concrete slurry will enter the rotation gap at the shaft end,
causing abnormal wear. This is one of the common failure modes of a twin-shaft mixer;:high
pollution, high impact.

As the planet carrier rotates, the three mixing shafts in the box rotate around the drum, but
also rotate at a high speed on their own. As a result, the material is subjected to strong
shearing and kneading to achieve its goal of full dispersion and mixing. The plant carrier has
a scraper blade that rotates along the planet carrier to continuously scrape the wall of the
drum, so that the drum wall has no stagnant material, further improving the mixing effect.

The gear transmission mechanism draws power from the engine to drive the variable pump of the hydraulic system. The mechanical energy is converted into hydraulic energy and transmitted to the quantitative motor, which drives the speed reducer. The reducer drives the mixing device and causes it to rotate in the mixing drum.
• The power takeoff and gearbox generally share the same oil tank.

Classification of Concrete Pump Trucks
After being transmitted from the engine to the gearbox, the power is divided into two outputs at the splitter box.
One is transmitted to the axle to drive the pump truck;. During concrete pouring operations, the power is switched.
The power is transmitted from the transfer case to the four-stage pump, and the pouring operation is completed by
the coordinated operation between the hydraulic pump and the motor of each hydraulic system.
• Heavy load operation:
During pouring operations, in order to provide sufficient power to drive the pumping system to pump concrete up to tens of meters in height, it is often necessary for the engine to work at a high gear. Sometimes, when pumping high-strength concrete, the engine will have to work at full capacity. High temperature and high pressure in the cylinder requires lubrication to have sufficient oxidation and wear resistance.
• Idle speed when waiting for materials:
A concrete pump truck generally needs to work with multiple concrete mixer trucks. Since an ordinary concrete mixer truck can only transport around 18 cubic meters of concrete, and smaller models are only capable of transporting 8 cubic meters of concrete, it is often necessary for mixer trucks to continuously ferry concrete from the mixing station to the construction sites. If the mixer trucks do not arrive on time, the concrete pump trucks would have to wait for the material feed. In order for the concrete in the hopper to not harden, it is necessary to ensure that the mixer in the hopper is always in operation during the entire construction operation, even as the pump truck is waiting for the material feed. As a result, the engine must stay on while waiting. The engine will switch to idle mode while waiting for the feed to reduce diesel consumption. Since the diesel fuel undergoes incomplete combustion when the engine is running idle, more soot is generated. Some of the soot will remain on the inner wall of the combustion chamber, so it is necessary for the engine oil to have good cleaning properties and be capable of dispersing the soot in the oil after cleaning. Therefore, the engine oil is required to have good dispersing performance.

Mixer
Hopper
Main cylinder
Pumpsystem Comprises hopper, conveyor cylinder, S valve, mixer, swing cylinder, conveying pipe, etc.
Pumpprinciple The main oil pump drives the main oil cylinder, and the main cylinder pushes the piston in the
conveying cylinder and move back and forth to realize the suction and pumping of the concrete in
the hopper. One end of the S valve in the hopper is connected to the discharge cone, while the
other end is connected to the outlet of the conveying cylinder (with a gap of about 2mm). The
constant pressure pump continuously switches between the docking of the S valve and the two
delivery cylinders by driving the oscillating cylinder. The conveying cylinder works with the oscillat-
ing cylinder to continuously pump the concrete. The hopper is equipped with a mixer, and the gear
pump drives the mixing motor to rotate the mixer so that the concrete in the hopper is mixed twice
to prevent segregation and hardening. The water in the water tank is mainly used to lubricate the
piston and form a certain back pressure to prevent or reduce the gap between the crucible piston
and the inner wall of the conveying cylinder where concrete may enter.
