• Opt nottosellflavoredmilk,whichhasaddedsugar.Or,placewhitemilkinfrontofflavoredmilkinthelunchcooler.
Itisimportanttodrinkfluidstostayhealthy,butsweetenedbeveragesaddextrasugarandcaloriestothediet.Theonlysweetenedbeverageallowedforsaletoelementaryschoolstudents,accordingtoUSDAregulationsupdatedJune2013,isflavorednonfatmilk.
