Abstract
In every reactive mufflers perforators place an important role. Here my project goal is to find out the optimum shape of a perforator & its size at similar conditions by performing cfd analysis.
Silencer kills noise in st flow by using absorbing material.Where as muffler kills noise by blocking the flow.Resonator reduces noise by using reducers.

Ideology & Data Gathering
Here my idea is knowing about effect of perforators size & shape on back pressure, shear stress, force & normal force on reactive muffler.Data gathering :- dimension are taken from walkers mufflersThickness are taken from sheet metalsPressure is taken from some research site ,,,etc..
Design & Its considerations
Considerations:-Tolerance are taken as zero dimensions are taken from walkersAssembly is a welded or fixed one with respect to displacement.Sheet of 3 mm for all is considered ,,,,,etc.. Software : CATIA-V5

Considerations:-Heat transfer to atmosphere is not consideredAir is to be at high temp & muffler is at room temp.Material is to be considered as homogeneous ,,,etc..Software: solidworks-2013(flow simulation)Inlet condition outlet condition mass flow
