Thanks again for all the prayers and encouragement surrounding the birth of our sweet Cathryn. God has blessed us with a very healthy baby girl. She is growing so much, and we are so humbled that God would entrust this precious child to us. We are also so very thankful for the gifts and food that you have provided for us. Your generosity continues to amaze us. If you are on track with us, we are working through Week 7 in the reading plan. This week’s readings will primarily focus on the ten plagues that ultimately influence the Egyptian pharaoh to let God’s people go. Once they leave though, pharaoh has one last change of heart and decides to chase after the Israelites. By the end of the week, you will be amazed at how God uses his miraculous power to rescue His people from the Egyptian army. You’ll also read about how God provided for His people in their daily needs as they journeyed towards the Promised Land. This week’s passages are some of my favorite passages in the Old Testament. I hope you will be challenged and encouraged as you read through them this week. This upcoming Sunday morning, we’ll learn more about Passover and the significance of this important celebration. I hope you’ll make plans to join us this Sunday. Keep going in the reading plan and have a blessed week! In Christ, Jason

A Message from Carter’s Corner This week in the life of our youth, we are preparing for the 2017 Valentine Banquet. This year our seniors have chosen the theme, “Who Dun-It.” This theme has come from the board game called “Clue.” Each grade will be acting out a skit that will tie into the theme of “Who Dun-It.” We will also have boneless chicken breast plates for sale for $5.00. There will also be a silent auction during the meal. All proceeds will go directly to our 2017 Youth Choir Mission Trip to Seattle, WA. We are so appreciative of a church who loves and supports our youth through your prayers, your encouragement, and your giving financially. Please pray for our youth this upcoming week as we stamp out the final details of our Valentine Banquet. Pray for our students that they will have courage to serve and to stand on a stage in front of people. We ask that you pray with us for our church and the many functions this upcoming year. Finally, we ask that you join with us in prayer for our nation and for the leaders of our country. We appreciate your love, support, and prayers for our youth as we seek to learn and serve together as family! ▪Act Justly ▪Love Mercy ▪Walk Humbly
