Thank you for how YOU help! Welcome to Worship at Prosper Christian Reformed Church! Prayers of Prosper Please pray boldly for Prosper Church!! Pray for our children. Pray that during the summer months they will know, hear and obey God! Remember our members who find it difficult to worship with us: June Boven, Betty DeKam, Eleanor Ebels, Bob Jenema, Millie Jenema, Marian Zinger and Cynthia Bazuin. Pray for rain! And thank him for the rain we received. Pray for safety for all those who make a living working outside! Pray also for safety as many will be traveling and on vacations during the summer months. Pray for the marriages in our congregation. Pray that they will be filled with grace and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Know too, that there are resources available to help any couple that might be struggling. Please be encouraged to speak with an Elder or Pastor Dirk for more information. We thank God for our young families and praise him for the gift of life! Pray for our expectant mothers, Kaycee Elsholz and Brittany Laughlin. Pray for healing and comfort for... -After a fall and stay in the hospital, Jerry Zuiderveen is now in Au- tumnwood where he will spend a couples of weeks in their rehab program. -Greg LaFrance is home from the hospital and will soon begin chemo and radiation treatments . ANNUAL PAINT THE TOWN BLACK 5K!!! There will be a 5K Walk and Run and a 1-Mile

Walk/“Fun Run”, both events open to all ages, in McBain on Saturday, August 4th at 9:00

a.m. starting and ending at NMCS. All donations received from the 5K will go to support the Uni-

versity of Michigan Cancer Research to find a cure for Melanoma. It is being hosted by the family

of Kelly VanHouten, who lost his battle with this disease in 2013. So put on your sunscreen and

HUNTER SAFETY CLASS will be offered Friday, August 24 beginning at 5:30pm and on Saturday, August 25,

8:00am – 4:00pm. This is for ages 10 and above. Class size is limited, so reserve your spot today by calling the church office at 231-826-4427. After sign-ing up, you may pick up the two books from Church that will need to be completed by class time. The Hunter Safety class will be held at Prosper Christian Reformed Church. Saturday lunch will be provided.
