Prayers of Prosper As we are about to end this year and begin 2017, please continue to pray boldly for Prosper CRC! Please continue to pray for Mary Lynn Schoo and Kim DeRuiter as the deal with ongoing illness.

We praise God that Dean VanOstran’s test came back good and there has been no change in the nodule on his lung. Dean and Deb are on their way to Arizona. Pray for safe travels. Dylan Lucas is leaving for Haiti for a mission trip tomorrow and will return Dec 28. Pray for safety for Dylan and his team. Pray also that they will find opportunities to tell the good news of Jesus. Remember our members who find it difficult to worship with us: June Boven, Betty DeKam, Jo DeRuiter, Carl Dick , Gen Dodde, Bernice Ebels, Eleanor Ebels and Millie Jenema. Gen spent some time in the hospital after a fall; please keep her in your prayers. The holiday season can be difficult for many people. In the midst of all the joy and excitement, some live with grief, others with worry and anxiety and others are harried by the busyness of the season. Pray often for the Holy Spirit’s comfort and strength for us all in this time and to remember the real reason of Christmas.

On this Fourth Sunday of Advent we continue the Candle lighting with the Candle of Love. If you are a visitor, please stay for

coffee and cookies in the Fellowship Room after the morning service; we’d love to get to know you!

This morning, from Ruth 4 we will remember who is great in the Kingdom of God. This evening at 6pm, is our Children’s Christmas Program. We give

thanks to God for our children, for their abilities, talents and their love for Jesus! Next Sunday, Come and worship the newborn King with us on Christmas Morning at 9:30am.

Let us approach Christmas with an expectant hush

rather than a last- minute rush.
